Tommy Hilfiger appoints Rahul Gambhir India business head

Gambhir was country head for Red Bull prior to this. He has also worked with Johnson and Johnson, Standard Chartered Bank and Madura Coats

Rahul Gambhir has been appointed business head for Tommy Hilfiger India. The brand, which came to India in 2004, is the clothing label of the American designer of the same name. Gambhir was earlier the country head for Red Bull.

“Tommy Hilfiger is a premium and luxury brand and I believe my exposure in the FMCG market with Johnson and Johnson and Red Bull will be put to good use,” says Gambhir. On why he moved, he says he felt he had spent enough time at Red Bull, and it was now time to move to the soaring market of apparel and accessories.
