Bharat Kapadia calls it quits at the Bhaskar Group

Kapadia says he is quitting because of personal reasons and will be able to say where he’s going only in 15 days’ time

Bharat Kapadia, senior media professional and executive director of the Bhaskar Group, has called it quits. This was confirmed to agencyfaqs! by Kapadia himself. He says he is quitting because of personal reasons, and adds that he will be in a position to comment on his next destination in 15 days or so. However, this doesn’t mean the end of his relationship with the Bhaskar family, he says; he will continue as an advisor with the group.

Bharat Bhai, as Kapadia is known in the industry, joined the Bhaskar Group three years ago as executive director for Divya Bhaskar, the group’s Gujarati daily. Later, in May 2007, he was elevated as executive director of the Bhaskar Group and given the responsibilities of Dainik Bhaskar, the group’s flagship brand, Aha! Zindagi and Saurashtra Samachar.
