BBDO India takes two hands from Grey

Sandipan Bhattacharya and Manoj Deb, both from Grey, have moved to BBDO India as executive creative directors in Delhi

BBDO India, an Omnicom company, has appointed Sandipan Bhattacharya and Manoj Deb executive creative directors of BBDO India. This is the first major appointment since Josy Paul was announced the chairman and national creative director of BBDO India.

Bhattacharya and Deb join BBDO India's Delhi office from Grey, where they were senior creative directors with a strong portfolio that included a prodigious mix of work ranging from advertising to environmental design.

Bhattacharya and Deb will partner Paul and the BBDO senior management team to set up a robust creative offering for BBDO India.

Josy Paul
Bhattacharya says, “Josy Paul is one of the most respected creative guys in the country. It did not take us long to decide on this one. Somewhere along the intersection of BBDO’s incredible ‘Totalwork’ philosophy and Josy’s passion for refreshing new ideas, we spotted a great opportunity to expand our creative learning. As always, we will get into the field and play the game with heart and soul.”

Paul says, “These appointments are big news for BBDO India. Both Sandipan and Manoj bring with them a wealth of experience and great talent. They have the ability to look beyond television and assess the broad spectrum of advertising channels, which is what Totalwork is all about."
