The Pink Slip Awards are organised by the Times Group to honour excellence in recruitment advertising
JWT Mindset swept away five awards, including the Grand Prix, at the Pink Slip Awards 2008. The awards are organised by the Times Group for excellence in recruitment advertising. The awards honour advertising that builds strong recruitment brands and attracts talent.

JWT Mindset won four awards for the brand, Broadridge Financial Solutions, including the Grand Prix, Best Use of a Headline, Best Recruitment Campaign and Best Ad in Banking, Financial Services and Insurance. The agency’s fifth award was won for EMRI, a non-profit emergency service, in the Services category.
Mindset’s creative director, Anvar Alikhan, says, “The challenge was to create a distinctive positioning for the company in today’s hyper-competitive talent market. We worked to understand the psychological buttons of our audience, and then we matched those with what Broadridge had to offer. The rest was easy.”

The awards had 12 categories in all: Grand Prix; Best Recruitment Campaign; Best Use of a Headline; Best Use of a Visual; Sales and Marketing; Services; Banking, Financial Services and Insurance; Engineering, Construction and Infrastructure; Health and Pharmaceuticals Industry; Aviation; IT and Telecom; and BPO Industry.
The jury included Josy Paul, national creative director, BBDO; Govind Shrikhande, chief executive officer, Shopper’s Stop; Sashi Sinha; CEO, FCB-Ulka; Mona Cheriyan, general manager, employee engagement, i-Flex Solutions; Rubi Arya, AVP, Kingfisher Airways; and Agnello Dias, national creative director, JWT.
