Rajeev Singh plans to launch celebrity magazine

The price of the magazine will be Rs 40-50

Rajeev Singh a Mumbai based entrepreneur is planning to launch a celebrity magazine in four months’ time. Singh runs a small ad agency by the name of Cross Channel Advertising in the city. Apart from the ad agency, he runs an event management business and also has a modelling agency called the Midas Modelling Group. Midas specialises in the recruitment, development and management of models for work in fashion, advertising, television and movies.

The name of the magazine that Singh is planning to launch has not been formalised. The company has applied to register the title with two or more options under the Companies Act. The final name will be known in a month’s time.

The new magazine will be targeted at an audience in the age group of 18-45 years in the SEC A, B and C segments. It will be in the category of magazines such as CineBlitz and OK! The content of the magazine is likely to include interviews with Bollywood stars, celebrity news, star inspired fashion, health, beauty, travel and features. The editorial team for the magazine is being put together.

The price of the magazine will be around Rs 40-50. The initial print run could not be ascertained.

Besides the magazine launch, Singh is in the process of setting up a film production house by the name of Red Crystal Films Pvt. Ltd. Red Crystal Films will specialise in producing art films.
