people being its first priority, Publicis India is working hard at getting its creative team right. It has brought in Mohit Tomar to handle the Future Group and Aviva Life Insurance accounts. Tomar moves here from O&M, where he was associate creative director.
In his new role, Tomar will partner Ritu Sharda on art work on the same accounts. He will report to Anindya Banerjee, creative head at the agency's Delhi branch.
Tomar began his career in advertising in 1999 with Meteus Oxygen, an agency which was set up by Ajay Ahluwalia, an ex-Publicis hand. In 2001, he joined Contract as art director. He moved to O&M in 2004. He has worked as a consultant with both agencies. Six months ago, he was designated associate creative director.
In the course of his career, Tomar has worked on brands such as Hindustan, Seagram's, Hindustan Times, Perfetti, India Tourism, Incredible India, Microsoft, JK Tyres and ABN Amro. At Meteus Oxygen, he worked on the Hyatt Regency account.First Published : April 02, 2008
