"What excited me is the culture of planning at Publicis Ambience. Planning isn't a department here. It's a product that is aimed at creating deeper meaning for brands that create lasting relationships. I'm also inspired by the emphasis here on doing fundamental work that will lead to fresh thinking," says Subramanyeswar.

"We have been investing heavily in our strategic planning function. Getting a really high quality leader for that function was critical, and Subbu is truly the ideal choice," says Aniruddha Banerjee, president and chief operating officer, Publicis Ambience.

Subbu has handled brands such as Nestle, Colgate, Parle, Dabur, Hyundai, Johnson & Johnson, Mother Dairy, Sony Ericsson, Tata Tea, and Renault during his career.
