Krishnaraj Bhat finds his way back to Mudra

This is the third time he will be working at Mudra

Krishnaraj Bhat will join Mudra Delhi as group director, brand communications. Bhat was earlier working with Reliance Industries at its textile division in Ahmedabad as deputy general manager, marketing. He will report to Sanjay Sharma, executive vice-president, Mudra, North and East.

Sharma says, “Krishnaraj brings with him industry experience of more than 11 years. His business acumen and knowledge will be an asset to the team.”

Incidentally, Bhat, an NIIT graduate and a MICA alumnus, started his career in Mudra Communications Ahmedabad as an account director in 1997. He then moved on to become an account supervisor, but later decided to join Bates India (now Bates David Enterprise) Kolkata, where he developed business leads and planned for new businesses. Later, he returned to Mudra for a second stint, this time as a director, brand communications (planning). Next, he moved to McCann-Erickson in Malaysia, where he was responsible for creating plan communication strategies for brands.

On his return to Mudra, Bhat says, “It’s a great feeling to be back where I grew up. And the opportunity of working with Sandeep (Vij) was too good to pass up.”

For over a decade Bhat has worked on some well known brands such as Paras Pharmaceuticals, Reliance Industries, Rasna Industries, Nestle Products, Coca-Cola and DiGi Telecommunications.
