Buongiorno enters mobile advertising business

Buongiorno will offer campaign creation, media planning, mobile site development, IVR advertisement, SMS and MMS marketing

Buongiorno Ltd, a Hong Kong based mobile entertainment and mobile value added services company, is gearing up to provide complete mobile advertising solutions to Indian advertisers.

Buongiorno's mobile ad management technology, B!3A, will help clients in campaign creation, campaign management, media planning and building WAP sites. It will enable multi channel delivery of ads through SMS, MMS, Interactive Voice Response (IVR) and WAP banner advertising, including advertising sales support.

Milind Pathak, co-chief executive officer and country manager, Buongiorno, India says “With around 261 million mobile users in India, mobile advertising is the most relevant and well targeted approach for a brand to connect with their target audience. Buongiorno will support large operators and media companies to monetise their web and WAP properties by offering them globally tested brand solutions. Having worked with more than 300 brands in fifteen countries, we are well placed to facilitate innovations in utilising this new and rapidly growing mobile medium.”

Pathak adds, “Our aim is to set up proper technological infrastructure and relevant talent pool in India, to cater to Indian operators, media and brands, thereby establishing us as a credible mobile and advertising player.”

Globally, Buongiorno has tied up with Vodafone in Egypt to launch its mobile advertising programme, offering advertising solutions across multiple channels like MMS, SMS, WAP banner and IVR. It has clients such as BMW, P&G, Pepsi and Hyundai in Egypt.

Buongiorno offers it services to various brands such as BPL, Samsung, MTV, Indiatimes and NEO sports in India.
