AMO bags Runwal Group account

The size of the business is around Rs 5-7 crore

AMO Communications has been awarded the creative duties of the Runwal Group after a multi-agency pitch. The account is pegged to be worth around Rs 5-7 crore.

The Runwal Group currently commands a land bank of 97 lakh square feet in prime locations such as Thane, Chembur, Mulund, Ghatkopar, Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) and has plans to extend this to Pune and Bangalore.

Jitendra Khokle, chief operating officer, AMO Communications, says, “With the extreme clutter and me-too nature of real estate advertising, the challenge was to create a unique brand experience that was sustainable and commanded a premium in the long term.”

AMO used proprietary planning models to bring out some unique insights in the category, which will help to translate into a brand experience. The fact that the Runwal Group has a presence in residential, commercial and retail verticals just makes the win even more exciting

Currently, AMO also handles the creative duties of Next, India’s largest electronics and durables retail chain.

Sandeep Runwal, director of the Runwal Group, says, “AMO’s process driven approach and ability to deliver innovative creative solutions is what swung our final verdict in their favour.”

AMO will have to fulfil a wide spectrum of needs as a communications partner. Runwal adds, “Backed by the broad spectrum of offerings from its parent group, Percept Ltd, AMO seemed the best fit for our needs.”

AMO Communications, part of the Percept Hakuhodo network, is also the creative agency for brands such as Goa Tourism, TCL Holdings, Next Retail, Asia Motor Works (AMW), Nissan, Shapoorji Pallonji, BP Ergo, Infosys and The Global Group.

The Runwal Group has expertise in developing specialised residential, commercial and retail projects.
