Jain will now be responsible for guiding Turner’s channels into the digital era. Leveraging his in-depth industry knowledge and great market relationships, he is expected to play a pivotal role in the launch of two new channels in 2008, the Hindi general entertainment channel in a joint venture with Alva Brothers, and the Hollywood movies and series channel in partnership with Warner Bros.

Similarly, Tata’s new responsibilities include steering the network’s new initiatives and activities across the Turner entertainment brands in South Asia. This includes supervision and development of Turner’s kids business, which encompasses Cartoon Network, Pogo, Sesame India, original productions and animated theatrical features.
