Ghoshal has been promoted as chief executive officer of Mid-Day Infomedia, a subsidiary of Mid-Day Multimedia, which includes the print and dotcom businesses. Ghoshal will also continue to be the chief financial officer of the Mid-Day Group.
Ghoshal has been with Mid-Day for six years and is a member of the strategic board of the Mid-Day Group. He will focus on turning Mid-Day into a multi-city and multimedia brand. He will stress on news and information for the target audience - the young urban mobile professionals of India (YUMPIs). He has about 15 years of experience in various sectors, including print, and has worked for companies such as KPMG Consulting, H&R Johnson and CMS Computers.
He adds, "Readers can upload videos on our website as we have tie-ups with Dailymotion and YouTube India."
