Ajay Ahluwalia to head touchpoint initiatives at Rediff

Ahluwalia recently ended his stint at Vyas Gianetti Creative (VGC), where he was senior creative director


Ahluwalia, aka AJ, has found a new home, Rediffusion DY&R. He will be head of consumer touchpoint initiatives involving below-the-line, retail design, shopper marketing and activation solutions for clients.

Ahluwalia will head a 14 member team comprising designers, content developers and writers involved in ideation and execution for all consumer touchpoints except conventional advertising media.

Earlier, Ahluwalia was senior creative director, Vyas Gianetti Creative (VGC). He has worked with agencies such as Publicis India, RK Swamy/ BBDO, Contract Advertising, Triton Communications, Mudra Communications and McCann Erickson in his 13 year career in advertising. He has also worked in various positions in sales. He has served as marketing head for Guardian Pharmacy (a retail pharmacy chain).

He has worked on brands such as Bacardi, Coca-Cola, Fanta, HP, NIIT, Hutch, Perfetti, Nescafe, Kelvinator and Hindustan Times.

Sandeep Madan, executive vice-president, Rediffusion DY&R Delhi, says, "As an industry, we are facing a challenge with respect to delivering beyond conventional media.
