Harmeet Singh Arora quits Zapak to head ad sales at mKhoj

Arora will head sales for India and neighbouring countries

Harmeet Singh Arora has joined mobile advertising company mKhoj as director and head of sales for India and neighbouring countries. Earlier, Arora was head, media sales and strategic alliances at Zapak (Reliance Entertainment's gaming division).

Arora has more than 15 years of experience in the online industry. At Zapak, he was instrumental in setting up the sales team and played a key role in forming alliances with brands such as Pepsi, Domino's and McDonald's.

Before joining Zapak, Arora was the director, corporate business development at Rediff.com. He has also worked with portals such as eindia.com and homeindia.com during the dotcom boom in India.

Arora says, “It’s the most exciting time to be in the mobile advertising space. The level of targeting and the scale that the medium offers is incomparable. A large number of marketers have started to realize the value of this medium. The penetration that mobile as a marketing medium has achieved has even surprised a person like me who comes from a digital background. I wanted to be part of this new era of marketing and mKhoj is a clear leader in this space.”
