After two years with SET Max, T Gangadhar has joined Mediaedge:cia as managing director

T & #BANNER1 & # Gangadhar, senior vice-president, marketing, SET Max, has moved to Mediaedge:cia (MEC) as managing director. He took charge at MEC on August 14. Gangadhar will report to Shubha George, managing director, MEC India. George is expected to take on a bigger role soon within the GroupM umbrella.

Gangadhar has an agency background and has worked with ad agencies such as Mudra and Lowe. Speaking to afaqs!, he says, "I don't have a media planning background, so it helps me to have a holistic perspective on brands." While largely, his mandate is to drive growth for MEC India, he hopes to provide media solutions that go beyond the traditional CPRPs (cost per rating point) and cater to the overall requirements of the brand.
