Neeraj Kapoor appointed as chief marketing officer
Neeraj Kapoor has been appointed as the chief marketing officer (CMO) by i-mint, India’s largest customer rewards programme, founded by Loyalty Solutions and Research Ltd. (LSRL). Neeraj will report to Vijay Bobba, chief executive officer (CEO).
Kapoor brings with him 17 years’ experience, spanning various industry verticals, including consumer electronics, home appliances, automobiles, FMCG and passenger aviation. Before joining i-mint, Kapoor was vice president, marketing, at Go Airlines, India, spearheading the marketing and corporate communications divisions.
A curriculum graduate of Landmark Education, Kapoor has successfully charted growth plans for brands like Sansui, Videocon and Kinetic, and later for LG Electronics India. He has won several awards, including an Effie and a Scooter of the Year, awarded by the Business Standard. He has also been awarded the Top Professional Award for the year 2007 by Safari India.

In an official communiqué, Vijay Bobba, CEO, LSRL, says, “Neeraj brings with him a wealth of knowledge of the typical Indian psyche and the marketing knowhow that will help propel i-mint to the next level of transformation. In this role, Neeraj will spearhead the marketing and the corporate communications function and shall be entrusted with the responsibility to establish i-mint as the leading brand in the Indian loyalty market.”
For the record, i-mint is India’s first multi brand rewards marketing network. With partners like ICICI Bank, Airtel, Make My Trip, Lifestyle, Air India and HP, it has pioneered the consumer rewards domain.
