search marketing agency based in Mumbai, has become a certified Google Analytics Authorized Consultant (GAAC). Google has two other GAACs in Asia, but Communicate2 is the first Indian agency on the list.
Google Analytics is a tool that helps marketers track the performance of their online campaigns. GAACs help Google AdWords (its search marketing program) customers to install Google Analytics, configure it, and train them if necessary through 'webinars' and workshops. In order to qualify to become a GAAC, an agency should have expertise in web analytics and should offer Analytics services to its customers.
Bhargava says the agency used to offer the tool only to its customers, but now that it has obtained the certification, it will also assist companies that are managing their paid search campaigns inhouse.
Communicate2 also plans to tie up with SEMPO (Search Engine Marketing Professional Organization) to organise Anaytics events in the country.
Communicate2 will train 160 of its employees in Analytics. The agency services clients such as ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, LIC Housing Finance, Reliance Money, Bajaj Allianz and Kingfisher Airlines.
According to the IAMAI, the search marketing industry was worth about Rs 500 crore in 2007-08, and is expected to increase by 55 per cent in the next year.
