JWT to share Congress portfolio with Crayons in Delhi

Crayons had bagged the creative and media duties for the party's assembly and Lok Sabha elections last month. Now, JWT has been brought for partnering the agency for the assembly elections

Last & #BANNER1 & # month, afaqs! carried a report on Crayons bagging the creative duties for the Congress party. That essentially brought the creative and media duties for the party's Lok Sabha and assembly elections, under Crayons' purview. In a new development, JWT will be partnering Crayons in the creative process for the assembly elections of Delhi to be held on November 29.

The account would be less than Rs 20 crore.

It is not yet clear how the duties would be split amongst the agencies. A source reveals that JWT would be looking at some print advertising for the party. The party plans to leverage television, print and radio to put across its messages.

While rival Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) has begun a lot of anti-campaigning against the Congress in print and outdoor media in the capital, will the Congress strike back?

A print ad was released yesterday by Crayons, which carries the tag-line for the party, 'Cannot afford to stop Progress, Vote Congress'. It talks about the advancements in the infrastructure sector, which have been incorporated during the reign of the party. The television commercial for the party went on air last night.
