Zee Turner aims to boost dealer network

The company has announced an incentive scheme to motivate its dealers to achieve their targets

Zee Turner, the joint venture media company between the Essel Group and Turner International, is on a drive to boost its dealer network.

The company, which claims to have the largest distribution network in the country, with more than 100 dealers, has announced an incentive scheme and activities to motivate them to meet their targets. The dealers include cable operators, multiservice operators (MSOs) or cable companies, and other sales agents.

Speaking to afaqs!, Himmat Sandhu, national sales head, Zee Turner, says, “It has always been our strategy to penetrate into the network as much as possible because dealer strength is very important to us.”

The incentive scheme, which is called Faayde Ki Race, will enable dealers to win cars such as Skoda Octavia, Tata Safari and Hyundai Accent according to the targets they achieve by March. While Sandhu refrains from commenting on what the targets are, he says that he is confident of achieving them post this scheme.

Zee Turner has also remapped its territories to help dealers reach their targets. Therefore, if a dealer is not able to generate enough revenue, his territories are realigned to increase the customer base.

The company is conducting on-ground activities to train and educate its dealers. It organised a dealer sales conference earlier this year.

Recently, Zee Turner hired a senior executive in an effort to step up its digital distribution, including its CAS and DTH platforms.

Zee Turner Ltd has a network of 32 channels, including Zee TV, Zee Cinema, Zee News, Cartoon Network and HBO.
