Obituary: Irshwin Balvani
Balvani had a massive heart attack on December 3
Irshwin Balvani, the business head of ETV Networks and Zee Muzic, passed away on the evening of December 3, 2008. He succumbed to a massive heart attack on that fateful Wednesday evening in Mumbai. Balvani is survived by his wife and two children.
Born on December 16, 1953, Balvani joined Essel Group in July 2005. Prior to that, he had worked with organisations such as Zoom, Times Entertainment (Planet M), Times Music and Sony Music. He had over three decades of experience in the entertainment industry.
