The video ad network will offer video ad banners, apart from pre and post-roll advertising options. IAvatarZ Digital has a tie-up with around 750 online publishers across various categories such as news, technology, travel and business. Of that, more than 60 per cent are represented by global sites, while the rest are based in India.

The company claims that that it has carried out 70-75 campaigns for various advertisers and has served about 200 million banner ad impressions in the last financial quarter.

Kumar points out that their ad network offers display advertising solutions, including static and rich media banner ads, to advertisers for brand building activities; but the network does not deal with performance-based advertising.

IAvatarZ has recently partnered with Santosh Kumar, who has earlier worked as media director at Zed Digital and Girish Mahajan, group head of Zenith Optimedia to develop special Internet advertising metrics and tools.

"The company will develop online tools to measure reach, frequency and brand visibility and also develop a rating point system, similar to the GRP concept in television, to measure the effectiveness of Internet advertising campaigns," claims Santosh.

IAvatarZ started its Indian operations in 2008 and also has presence in the US, UK and Australia.
