GEC Watch: Dus Ka Dum in top 10

STAR Plus is the only channel that has managed to increase its share, albeit marginally, in Week 35, as per TAM statistics (C&S, 4+, HSM). It has 300 GRPs in the latest week, while Colors' GRPs stands at 289.

Their channel shares are 24 and 23 per cent, respectively.

Zee TV, which is at No. 3, is 20 GRPs away from Colors and has garnered a relative share of 21 per cent. Sony is at No. 4 with a relative share of 10 per cent; its show, Dus Ka Dum recorded a TVR of 3.8 in Week 35, making it to the list of top 10 most watched programmes on Hindi GECs.

NDTV Imagine is at No. 5 with a relative share of 7 per cent; while SAB's share in the GEC pie remains at 5 per cent. STAR One is 15 GRPs behind SAB and has managed to grab a 4 per cent share.

Sahara One and STAR Utsav have garnered 3 and 2 per cent share of the pie, respectively. 9X and Real both have 1 per cent share each.

Coming to the top 10 programmes on Hindi GECs, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai leads the pack, with a high TVR of 7.1 in Week 35. The second most watched show is Balika Vadhu, which has a TVR of 5.6; followed by Na Aana Is Des Laado with a TVR of 5.1. Bidaai is at No. 4, garnering a TVR of 4.8. Pavitra Rishta on Zee managed to garner 4.6 TVR.

The other shows on the list are: Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo, Chhoti Bahu, Dus Ka Dum, Saregamapa Lil Champs-09, Aapki Antara and Sab Ki Laadli Bebo.
