Juggi Ramakrishnan is deputy regional executive creative director, Ogilvy APAC

The designation of deputy regional executive creative director is a newly created one

Juggi Ramakrishnan has joined Ogilvy as deputy regional executive creative director for the agency's Asia Pacific operations. Based in Singapore, he will report to Eugene Cheong, creative president, Ogilvy Asia Pacific.

Ramakrishnan comes in from BBDO Singapore, where he joined in 2007. Earlier, he was with Saatchi & Saatchi at its Singapore branch for about 10 years.

Over the past one year, Ramakrishnan played an instrumental role in winning the SingTel, NETS and Guinness businesses at BBDO. He is also learnt to have put systems in place for an integrated through the line operation.

In a press note, Cheong says, “Superior creative equals new business: Juggi’s successful track record is evidence to this. He is a rare talent and one of Asia’s most respected creatives; I’m thrilled he’s joined our team. Despite the downturn, we remain committed to investing in top talent for the sake of our clients and their businesses. Juggi’s remit is to elevate the standard of our overall creative output, with a special emphasis on Southeast Asia.”
