Five agencies make it 'Work'

Ogilvy led the pack with 10 acceptances to this year's annual that will be published in early 2010

Campaign Brief Asia's annual magazine, The Work, has announced its list of agencies in the Asia Pacific region that have made it to the annual.

Five Indian agencies have had their works entered in this year's magazine, including Ogilvy India, Publicis Ambience, Publicis India, Leo Burnett and Euro RSCG.

This year, 221 acceptances came from Asia, 105 from Australia and 69 from New Zealand.

Within the region, O&M shared the title of Network of the Year with BBDO, as both agencies had 55 acceptances each. This was followed by DDB and Saatchi & Saatchi, with 33 acceptances each.

Among the Asian agencies, Ogilvy ranks second (and fourth in the APAC region), with 10 acceptances; Publicis Ambience ranks fifth (and seventh in the APAC region) with eight acceptances. The entries of Publicis Ambience that made it to the list were: Spit Stain for CPAA; Sansui – parental lock; Garnier – sun shade; Cupid Condoms; Tata Indicom broadband; Himani Fast Relief; Wespro – motion capture; and Autocop – parking lot.

Leo Burnett's Mumbai office has five acceptances in the APAC region. Publicis India has three, including inGandhisShoes.org – Let Gandhi talk; Omaxe wide angle glasses; and a dog laxative.

Euro RSCG India and Leo Burnett's Delhi office also had an acceptance each.

In early 2010, a 400+ page hardback book will be published, featuring the 399 best ads and campaigns of 2009 from Australia, NZ and Asia. The Work 09 also comes with two high quality DVDs that contain all TV, TV Craft, Integrated and Radio acceptances.
