The win comes close on the heels of the Luxor win for the agency

On the heels of winning the Luxor/Parker portfolio, the new agency on the block, Vizeum, has also won the media duties for leading Italian formal wear brand, Giovani.

The business will be handled from the Mumbai and Delhi offices of the agency, with the entire team of the agency involved in and contributing to it.

S Yesudas, managing director, Indian sub-continent, Vizeum, says, "The brand has strong credentials such as material, design, finish and value for money price tag." However, since its launch in 2002, the brand has been quiet in the advertising and marketing space.

"As the brand custodian, our responsibility will be to ensure Giovani engages as many current and potential consumers as possible in a captive manner, using the available resources with prudence," adds Yesudas in an official communiqué.

As brand consultants, Vizeum will study how Giovani is perceived among its consumers and try to match the external perception to internal realities, identifying need gaps and creating relevant brand identity, personality and positioning for the consumers so that they relate to the brand.

Yesudas also shares that Vizeum will develop a brand personality for Giovani in both look and feel and this will be spread across all touch points.

As media agency of record, Vizeum will be responsible for launching the communication through effective media touch point strategy, media partnerships and measurement of marketing initiatives conducted.

Gurgaon based Dhir Global Industrial holds the exclusive marketing rights for Giovani in India.
