Pizza Hut, the pizza chain of restaurants and one of the flagship brands of Yum! Brands Inc., has chosen to retain JWT as its creative partner.

Pizza Hut had called for a pitch in September. The agencies invited to take part in the process were JWT, Ogilvy, BBDO and Saatchi & Saatchi.

Talking about the objective of the pitch, he reveals, "With the kind of challenges the brand has to face in the future, we wanted to see what each of the agencies brings to the table."

Sources claim the size of the business to be in the region of Rs 16-17 crore.

Yum! Brands Inc. also has brands such as KFC, Taco Bell, A&W and Long John Silver's under its umbrella. Pizza Hut has 12,500 restaurants across 91 countries.

In India, Pizza Hut has 140 restaurants across 34 cities, including Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Pune and Chandigarh. Yum! is in the process of opening Pizza Hut restaurants at many more locations to service a larger customer base across the country.
