"My immediate agenda is to put Mudra Kochi on the world map. Mudra Kochi has not had much international exposure. So, we want to chase some international awards. I also want to establish Mudra Kochi very strongly in this belt," Rajan tells afaqs!.

The post of creative head at Mudra Kochi was vacant for about two years before Rajan's appointment.

With around 15 years of experience in advertising, Rajan began his career in sales, then moved to marketing, servicing and eventually to art.

He also had a brief stint in Bangkok, working at a local agency.

Rajan has worked on brands such as CavinKare, Citibank, Mitsubishi Motors, Lenovo Worldwide and ITC. The work he did for Mitsubishi Pajero and Lenovo Worldwide at Contract Advertising and Ogilvy India, respectively, is very close to his heart.

Commenting on Rajan's appointment, Bobby Pawar, chief creative officer, Mudra Group says in a press statement, "Burnard is an excellent new addition to our creative team. His wide range of experiences on a number of brands will be a definite asset to the team at Kochi".
