Primesite East appoints Ranjit Banerjee as group account director
Banerjee moves in from Outdoor Advertising Professionals to handle Primesite's business development for the eastern region
Mudra Group's OOH arm, Primesite, has appointed Ranjit Banerjee as group account director, Primesite Kolkata. He moves in from Outdoor Advertising Professionals (a joint venture of Rediffusion Y&R and Selvel Vantage Group), where he served as senior manager.
In a conversation with afaqs!, he shares that the Kolkata market is as important for Primesite as all other markets, maybe not in terms of size or monies but in totality.
Mandeep Malhotra, senior vice-president, Primesite, says, "I am happy to have Ranjit on board. He will head Primesite Kolkata as well as be involved in opening doors for all other businesses such as Kidstuff, Celcius, Ten Integrated and Terra. Banerjee has more than 12 years of professional experience and has handled prominent clients such as Aircel, Maruti, Airtel and Bacardi.
He started his career with SIGHT, a local outdoor advertising media owner, in 1997. In 2001, he moved to Ogilvy & Mather, where he supervised the execution of various campaigns and tracked the outdoor media campaign for competition. In 2002, he moved to Outdoor Advertising Professionals.
