InMobi appoints Emmanuel Allix as head, APAC

Bengaluru-based mobile ad network company, InMobi, previously known as mKhoj, has appointed Emmanuel Allix, as head of Asia Pacific (APAC) operations. Prior to this, Allix was managing director (Asia Pacific), Pudding Media, a mobile advertising firm based in the US.

He will report to Naveen Tewari, co-founder and chief executive officer, InMobi. Speaking to afaqs!, Allix says, "I will be responsible for the profit and loss of InMobi operations in the APAC region. Our key markets in APAC are India, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia and Australia." Later, he will also look after InMobi's Middle East operations.

Allix is a telecom engineer and has 15 years of experience in the mobile and internet space. Before Pudding Media, Allix was regional mobile director at Group M (Singapore). He worked there for about three years. Allix has also worked with KPMG, Singapore Airlines and Alcatel.

Apart from the APAC region, InMobi is also present across Europe, Africa and the Middle East. In Europe, it has presence in UK, Italy, Germany, France and Spain; and plans to set up operations in northern and eastern European nations as well.
