Mediacom bags the media mandate for TVS Srichakra

Mediacom won the account in a multi-agency pitch, involving at least six other agencies

Mediacom has been appointed to handle the media duties for TVS Srichakra. The agency was chosen following a multi-agency pitch that involved at least six other agencies. It is learnt that the selection took around six weeks from the time the pitch was called.

"We did the performance evaluation of all the agencies that pitched for the account. Mediacom scored better than the rest," a company source tells afaqs!.

While a Mediacom official confirmed the development, further details about the account size and the planned campaign could not be ascertained.

The projected spends and the media mix for the upcoming campaign will be finalised in a fortnight's time, says the TVS Srichakra official.

The company did not have any media agency prior to this.

Founded in 1982, TVS Srichakra, a part of the TVS Group, manufactures tyres and tubes for mopeds, motorcycles, scooters and three wheelers under its brand, TVS Tyres. It also has a range of industrial pneumatic tyres, farm tyres and implement tyres for export purposes.
