Anirban Ghosh has been appointed business director, Mumbai, MOMS, the outdoor division of Madison Media. Prior to this, he was regional manager for the western region (including Maharashtra, Gujarat, Goa, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh) at Percept Outdoor.
At MOMS, Ghosh will develop new clients and add more value to the existing clients. He will report to Arminio Ribeiro, chief executive officer, Madison Outdoor Group.
He adds, "My main focus will be to bring in new clients and develop innovative outdoor plans. I will also work on the right mix of location specific creative to optimise and execute the outdoor campaigns, give our clients more value for money and deliver the right TG."
Ghosh brings with him close to two decades of experience in the media industry. Starting his career with Anandabazar Patrika as ad sales executive, he went on to work with the India Today Group, Navbharat Times and ORG-MARG Media Research.
In the outdoor media domain, he has worked with Laqshya Digital Media for 18 months and also had a short stint of three months with Big Street as head, sales for Mumbai, before moving to Percept Outdoor, where he spent a year and a half. At Percept, he handled clients such as Tata Motors, Max New York Life Insurance, Spice Telecom, Lifestyle International, Samsung and HyperCITY.
