After having spent almost 15 years with the Percept Group, Bangard has quit to look for new avenues
Vinita Bangard, chief operating officer, Percept Talent Management has put in her papers and is currently serving her notice period.
Having spent close to 15 years with the Percept Group, Bangard began her long stint with the group as a client servicing representative in advertising. She was a part of the team that started the event and celebrity management arm, Percept D'Mark, about a decade ago, which later became Percept Talent Management (PTM).
While Bangard could not be reached for comments, sources in the company say one of the chief reasons behind her move could well be that after being with Percept for more than a decade, she is moving on towards new avenues.
Among the various projects she has handled, Bangard is known for her team's work in managing actor Priyanka Chopra and repositioning her as a youth icon with suitable brand and social endorsements.
Tag Heuer, Ponds and Sunsilk are some of the major brands handled by PTM and endorsed by Chopra.
Bangard is expected to leave the organisation by the end of February or the first week of March.
