RAPP India has won the communication duties for Intuit Money Manager, a personal finance software tool that lets users plan, track and manage their money.
After a series of unsuccessful meetings with other agencies, Intuit was on the lookout for a partner, whose thoughts were in tandem with the company's. That is when RAPP India came into picture. "It was actually a 'Eureka!' moment for us, when within 48 hours of our briefing, the agency came up with an idea that rightly represented our thoughts," says V Anandkumar, head marketing, Intuit.
The agency is equally elated at winning the account. "It's a very prestigious account," says Venkat Mallik, president, RAPP India. "We're proud to be associated with a company that topped the Fortune list as the world's most admired software company for 2009. We look forward to leveraging our strengths in direct response and data driven communication across channels to deliver results for Intuit in India," he adds.
Intuit has big plans in both the physical and the digital space. It plans to use all aspects of online advertising, which include banners, Google Adwords and representation on social networking sites.
In the physical world, it plans to tie up with a few airports and work in association with resident welfare associations of different localities, apart from investing in IT parks, radio and outdoor media.
The campaign for Intuit, created by RAPP, focuses on the advantages of giving users 'the complete picture'. It is an integrated campaign with equal emphasis on all media.
For the record, RAPP India, a unit of DDB India Group, is a part of the RAPP Worldwide network. The data-driven marketing communications agency provides media agnostic brand communication solutions, customer relationship management, customer acquisition and retention solutions.
