Shivani Raina Ghosh joins Colors as national director, client servicing

Ghosh has served in various places during the fifteen years of her career, including Mudra, McCann, Lodestar, FBC Media and Tangerine Digital Entertainment

Shivani Raina Ghosh joins Colors as national director, client servicing. This is a new position created by Colors to align with its aggressive revenue growth plans. Ghosh will report to Simran Hoon, national sales head, Colors. Earlier, Ghosh was vice-president, business development, TV division, Tangerine Digital Entertainment.

Being a part of the sales team in Colors, Ghosh will comprehend handling brand innovations in Advertiser Funded Programs (AFP), hence helping advertisers with brand solutions that extend beyond television commercials.

Talking about her move to Colors, Ghosh says, "Working with Colors is an opportunity of a lifetime. This completes my work circle as I have tried my hand in media agencies and also as a planner, adding value to brands, worked in the production space and got an understanding as to how content is produced. At Colors, my main function will be to generate revenue."

Ghosh discusses special projects that really excited her, including working as a planner and buyer with the Nestle team that proved to be a good working experience; At Lodestar, the Amul account was one that provided a lot of learning and led to the formation of an amazing team; shows such as 'Ponds Age Miracle Salaam-E-Ishq', Lakme Fashion House - a reality show and Banungi Main Miss India were, according to her, the turning points in her career.

In a career spanning 15 years, Ghosh started as a media trainee at Mudra Videotec. Subsequently, she joined Mudra Communications as senior media planner, working for brands such as Nestle, Samsung and Dabur. Her stint at Mudra lasted for four years.

Later, she shifted to Universal McCann as associate media director, where her core responsibility was media buying, annual deal management and media innovations. Her association with McCann lasted for three years.

Afterwards, Ghosh worked at Lodestar Universal for two years as media controller in media planning and strategy and new business development. Subsequently, she joined FBC Media in a new role as head of media strategy, India operations, which taught her the fundamentals of business and European expertise. She was with FBC for two years.

Moving from FBC Media, Ghosh joined Tangerine Digital Entertainment as vice-president, business development for the TV division, where content production knowledge was acquired in all formats, be it trends, solutions or pitch. Her association with Tangerine lasted for two years.
