The online network, indiantelevision.com has partnered with the Disney network to engineer this special event.

Pitchkiaow, as the event is called, will be held on March 11 at IMAX Wadala, Mumbai. People, who live up to the brand promise of the Disney group, will be invited to the online screening process at the venue.

The winner will take home a grant of Rs 5 lakh to further develop the idea into a production bible, which will be aired exclusively on Disney Channel, Disney XD and Hungama TV. Also, two development grants would be sanctioned, one for the animation genre and another for the live action genre. The last date to register for this event is March 5.

Natasha Malhotra, vice-president and general manager, Walt Disney Television International India, talks about the concept of Pitchkiaow. "The business of Disney thrives on pillars such as creativity and originality. One needs to explore the raw talent present in the country; and this event can be the platform for all those who aspire to make it big with good content ideas."

People from varied backgrounds, be it students, freelancers or production houses, have been invited to demonstrate their talent either in animation or live action -- in long form, short form, fiction or non-fiction.
