Dentsu appoints Krishna Prasad as head, digital

Prasad has about 16 years of work experience and was earlier with MSN India, as executive producer

Well-placed sources in the industry inform afaqs! that Dentsu India has roped in Krishna Prasad as head of its digital division. He was with MSN India as executive producer until October 2009.

Rajesh Aggrawal, president, Dentsu India, in a recent interaction with afaqs!, had disclosed that the agency had identified digital as one of the key growth areas. He had also indicated that Dentsu intended to beef up its digital team.

Prasad has about 16 years of work experience, of which seven were spent at MSN India. As executive producer of MSN, he used to head the content team and was mainly responsible for creating content strategies and alliances to drive Internet users to MSN India network websites. He was also part of the team that launched MSN Search and MSN Video in India.

Prior to MSN, Prasad has worked with companies such as Microland Group, where he was head of production at Indya.com, which was later acquired by News Corporation.
