Rahul Mahajan takes Imagine to No 4

The concluding episode of Rahul Dulhaniya Le Jayega has garnered a TVR of 5.6, as per TAM

All the general entertainment channels have witnessed growth in Week 10, as per TAM Media Research data. The genre, which had seen a slight decline in Week 9, has added 215 GRPs in all this week.

Both STAR Plus and Colors have tied at the top spot in Week 10. The two channels have acquired a relative share of 21 per cent each. In Week 9, STAR Plus had a share of 22 per cent, taking the top spot. The channels' GRPs stand at 316 and 311, respectively.

Zee, at No. 3, has witnessed a rise in share too, from 18 per cent in Week 9 to 20 per cent in Week 10. The channel is just 10 GRPs behind Colors this week. Zee Rishtey Awards, telecast on February 28, was the second most watched property on Hindi GECs in the week.

Imagine has jumped to No. 4, leaving Sony behind, with a relative share of 12 per cent in Week 10. Its GRPs climbed from 123 in Week 9 to 172 in Week 10. This was largely due to the final episode of Rahul Dulhaniya Le Jayega, which fetched a TVR of 5.6.

Around 25.4 million tuned into the show on Sunday, which is higher than what Rakhi Ka Swayamvar could manage. However, Rakhi Ka Swayamvar's final TVR was a whopping 8.4. The launch day TVR of Rahul Ka Swayamvar was 2.1. The viewership on the final day was the highest ever for the show and got it into the list of most watched programmes in Week 10.

Meanwhile, Sony's share is unchanged at 10 per cent and the GEC has garnered 151 GRPs. SAB and STAR One have recorded relative shares of 6 and 3 per cent, respectively. DD1's share has dropped from 8 per cent in Week 9 to 3 per cent in Week 10. Sahara One and STAR Utsav have garnered a share of 2 per cent each.

On the list of top 10 programmes on Hindi GECs, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is the most watched programme in Week 10, recording a TVR of 7.3. Zee Rishtey Awards follows with a TVR of 7. Pavitra Rishta and Bidaai, the third and fourth most watched shows, are almost at par with TVRs of 5.9 and 5.8, respectively. Uttaran, at No. 5, has managed to draw 5.7 TVR.

The other shows that made it to the list are: Rahul Dulhaniya Le Jayega, Balika Vadhu, Na Aana Is Des Laado, Chhoti Bahu and Jhansi Ki Rani.
