Khiani has been roped in as publisher of the luxury travel magazine, slated to be launched this October
The soon to-be launched luxury travel magazine, Condé Nast Traveller India has announced the appointment of Sunaina Talwar Khiani as its publisher. The magazine will be launched in October.
The Indian edition of the magazine will be its sixth edition across the world. The first edition of the magazine was launched in 1987 in the US. The magazine is also being published in the UK, Italy, Spain and Greece.
Prior to joining Condé Nast Traveller, Khiani was a consultant for luxury and lifestyle brands. She has been associated with Louis Vuitton and Salvatore Ferragamo, overseeing the marketing and communications portfolio for the two brands. She has also worked with Casa Decor, an architecture and planning company, as its marketing consultant, and with InterContinental Hotels Group. She has spent over four years in the Indian luxury industry. The MBA graduate from INSEAD completed her undergraduate degree from McGill University in Montreal, Canada.
Besides, Divia Thani Daswani has been appointed as the editor of Condé Nast Traveller India. Daswani comes from Vogue India, where she was the features editor and handled beats including art, culture, lifestyle and travel.
Daswani has a degree in English from the University of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She has also received the Robert C Laing Award for creative writing, as well as a Brackenridge Fellowship from the University Honors College.
