Khan will endorse the Wynncom brand of mobile handsets, which are due for launch in May this year
Wynn Telecom has signed on Saif Ali Khan as the brand ambassador to represent its new mobile handset brand, Wynncom. The contract with Khan has been signed for two years.
To reach the youth, Wynn Telecom will delve into all forms of communication, including print, electronic, radio and digital and outdoor. The ad spends for this fiscal will be Rs 25 crore. Wynn Telecom had also called for a creative pitch, though the name of the selected agency hasn't been disclosed yet. The media agency, too, is on the brink of finalisation.
Rakesh Malhotra, co-founder and chairman, Wynn Telecom shares, "We believe that the association is a perfect match between Saif's personality and what we stand for as a brand -- he is well admired amongst our TG, is aggressive and extremely popular with the youth."
About his contract with Wynn Telecom, Khan says that he looks forward to an association with Wynncom, a brand that hopes to stand for cutting-edge innovation and style. "I admire the brand's attitude and style and relate to it closely, as it is refreshingly trendy and fast," he says in a communiqué.
