McCann's Naren Multani to be on D&AD 2010 jury

Multani will be a part of the 11-member jury judging the TV & Cinema Crafts category

Naren Multani, creative director (films), McCann Erickson, South Asia has been invited to be part of the jury at the D&AD awards this year.

Multani will join 10 other jury members in judging the TV & Cinema Crafts category. Walter Campbell, creative director, Serious Pictures is the jury foreman.

Other jury members in the category are: Zak Mroueh, creative director, Zulu Alpha Kilo, Canada; Steve Back, executive creative director, Saatchi & Saatchi, Australia; Steve Cope, director, Rattling Stick; Mike Nicholson, creative director, TBWA; Carlos Manga Junior, director, Paranoid Br; Paul Prince, chief executive officer and managing partner, The Sweet Shop; Phil Crowe, senior flame artist and joint head of 2D - The Mill, Los Angeles; Brett Morris, group creative director, Draftfcb South Africa and Lisa Gunning, editor, The Whitehouse.

Last year, Abhinay Deo from Ramesh Deo Productions was part of the TV & Cinema Crafts jury.

Other categories at the D&AD awards are: Art Direction, Book Design, Branding, Digital Advertising, Direct Environmental Design, Graphic Design, Illustration, Integrated, Magazine & Newspaper Design, Mobile Marketing, Music Videos, Outdoor Advertising, Packaging Design, Photography, Press Advertising, Product Design, Radio, TV & Cinema Advertising, TV & Cinema Communications, TV & Cinema Crafts, Typography Websites, Writing for Advertising, and Writing for Design.

D&AD, initiated in 1962, celebrates and nurtures outstanding work in design and advertising. The Yellow Pencils are recognized the world over as a symbol of creative achievement. This year, the winners will be announced in an awards ceremony on June 03 in London.
