Discussing the new development and the future plans, Prasad says, "I will ensure that there is a level playing field for all operators in India. I will push forward the issues taken on hand by Apurva. Also, bringing a shape to the industry will be essential by logical intervention over the policy issues. I am happy that the radio operators are on the same page."

Purohit says, "As per the constitution, I completed two years at AROI and have to say that during my tenure, a lot of effort was put in by the players aligned to causes. For example, one was getting political advertisement approved on radio. I am sure that Anurradha will carry on the same legacy."

Founded in 2007, AROI is the elected body of members of the radio industry that represent common views to the government.
