Imagine TV has undergone internal restructuring at the top level. Shailja Kejriwal has decided to take a break and step down from the post of head - programming. It is learnt that she would handle some other function at the channel. Kejriwal was also overseeing marketing communication and strategy planning for the GEC. It is yet to be decided who will head programming division at Imagine TV now that Kejriwal has stepped down from the post.

On the other hand, Nikhil Madhok, vice-president - marketing, has been elevated to the post of head - marketing and communication, with immediate effect. Madhok will now oversee all the functions of marketing communication, including brand and trade marketing, on-air promotions and presentation. He has been associated with the channel for one-and-a-half years.

Madhok has eight years of experience. Prior to joining Imagine, he was associated with Hindustan Lever for six-and-a-half years.

Talking about his new role, Madhok says, "It's a competitive GEC space. My effort will be to further strengthen the position of Imagine and get more people to tune into the channel."

It is also learnt that Harsh Rohatgi, who handles revenue and new ventures, will now be responsible for content and communication with immediate effect. Dhruvank Vaidya will now be responsible for the new ventures and joint ventures of the company, including Lumiere and Showbiz, as well as the subsidiaries.

In another move, Tharun Rai will continue to be the head of TGEN distribution, and will also aim to create a common distribution pool for Turner in the country.
