Lowe Lintas enters Kerala with Kochi office

This office in Kochi will also cater to businesses in Thiruvananthapuram and Kozhikode

As part of its growth plans in South India, Lowe Lintas has decided to tap Kerala's potential as a fast expanding market. The agency has started operations in Kerala with an office in Kochi, which will also cater to businesses in Thiruvananthapuram and Kozhikode. Presently, Lowe Lintas will open its innings with Mayden Pharma, a client based in Kochi.

Sujit Nair, president, Lowe Lintas, will oversee operations in Kerala and look after the businesses in that market.

According to Lowe Lintas executives, companies in Kerala have, so far, been traditional in their business approach. With growing encouragement from the Government to go global, most local brands have expanded into national and international markets, a fact that has led to the agency eyeing the state more seriously.

Charles Cadell, CEO, Lowe Lintas India, says in an official communiqué, "With an increasing number of Kerala brands targeting national and international markets, it is an opportunity for us to offer our international brand building expertise to companies in such an expansion mode."

To this end, and to give such clients the dedication they will need, Lowe Lintas is establishing local representation to support brand development, he adds. "The estimated advertising business in Kerala is around Rs 100 crore; and we hope to get a strong foothold in this state soon," Cadell states.

Lowe Lintas hopes to bring national and international learning, experience and exposure to businesses in retail and ayurveda industries and government clients. The agency will bring in marketing consulting capabilities and help create "power brands" through high-value ideas.
