The Summit Creative Award recognises the work of advertising, interactive, video production, graphic design and public relations companies with annual billings under $30 million
Three Indian agencies have won awards at the Summit Creative Awards recently.
Launched in 1994 and based in Portland, Oregon, the Summit Creative Award is conducted by the Summit International Awards (SIA). The SIA conducts the Summit Creative Award, the Summit Marketing Effectiveness Award and the Summit Emerging Media Award.
"Each year, smaller advertising agencies and creative companies around the world earn more than $750 billion, creating everything from a prime-time TV commercial to a bench at the local bus stop. There is so much outstanding creative out there that goes largely unrecognised," says Jocelyn Luciano, executive director of the Summit International Awards. "Our goal is to award those outstanding campaigns, which fuel the economy of the world, including small business, political campaigns, and regional products."
This year, entries came in from 24 countries across the globe. Of these, three Indian agencies won the hearts of judges.
Encyclomedia Networks won a silver award for its entry 'Oven Fresh', for Australian client Baker's Delight in the Display/POP category. This campaign was launched in Australia through the agency's Australian counterpart, Encyclomedia Networks MediaTag.
Bangalore-based Telibrahma Convergent Communications won three awards in the Mobile Marketing category. It won the silver for the Nike IntARact campaign, a bronze for its work on Toyota Fortuner – Prodcasting and another bronze for Coca-Cola Recruitment Drive.
R&P Advertising and Media Communication won a gold for the entry, 'Self Medication' in the category, PSA Brochure/Collateral/Poster for its client, Patil Hospital & Lata Patil Clinic, Mumbai.
