Saurabh Dasgupta and Ambika Sharma appointed jury members for PMAA 2010

The awards receive entries from across Asia-Pacific

Saurabh Dasgupta, executive creative director, Innocean Worldwide and Ambika Sharma, national head, Jagran Solutions have been appointed to judge Promotion Marketing Awards of Asia (PMAA) 2010.

The PMAA award is about innovations done in the area of promotion. It takes into account the idea, as well as the execution and the results of that idea. The awards give significant weight to the results of the campaign.

"That is what separates it from other awards. Other creative awards only evaluate the creative idea, while PMAA takes into account all aspects of it– right up to the results achieved from it. This is what makes a campaign successful," says Dasgupta, who judged PMAA 2009, too.

Last year, the PMAA submissions were up 32 per cent across categories.
