Three agencies win at One Show Design 2010

Bates 141, Karigari and Out of the Box win silver and bronze awards

Three entries from India have won One Show Design Pencils at the 2010 One Club award festival, held in New York City. The agencies that bagged the awards are: Karigari Design and Bates 141 from Mumbai; and Out of the Box from Delhi.

Bates 141's campaign, 'The Hidden Truth; for the Women's Grievances Cell bagged a silver pencil in the Public Services: Collateral - Single category.

Three agencies win at One Show Design 2010
Karigari Design's 'Soap Cards' for the Backpacker Company won a bronze pencil in the Corporate Identity - Single category. Out of the Box won a bronze pencil in the category, Public Services: Collateral - Campaign, for 'Presidium Bedsheets' for Presidium Senior Secondary School.

The Best of Show award was given to directors, Masashi Kawamura, Hal Kirkland, Magico Nakamura and Masayoshi Nakamura, for the music video, "Sour 'Hibi no Neiro' (Tone of Everyday)" that captures live action through webcams.

This year, over 37 entries were shortlisted from India for the One Show 2010; of which 16 were shortlisted for One Show Design.

Last year, Dizzy Design, Mumbai won the gold pencil in the Corporate Identity - Single category, for 'Edible Visiting Card' for Bombay Bakery. Also, Ogilvy & Mather, New Delhi won the silver pencil in Public service/Non-Profit/Educational - Posters - Single category for 'Flock of birds' for WWF India.

The One Club is a non-profit organisation devoted to elevating creative work in the industry. The One Show Awards recognise creativity in advertising across TV, print, radio, design, interactive and new media.
