Gulati has joined the media house as executive vice-president
Dinesh Gulati, former chief sales and customer experience officer of the UAE-based telecom brand Etisalat, has joined The Express Group as executive vice-president. At Indian Express, he replaces Rajiv Jaitly, who left the company earlier this month.
Jaitly was president, marketing at the company, and handled advertising and sales related responsibilities. Prior to joining Indian Express, Jaitly was associated with Bhaskar Group as president, marketing and ad sales, where he spent little more than a year.
In his new role, Gulati will be responsible for the functioning of space marketing and circulation of the newspaper.
Prior to the new assignment, Gulati was associated with Etisalat for over a year. In his 19-year career, Gulati has handled various responsibilities, including managing a profit centre, marketing, finance, sales, and customer service. He was also associated with Reliance Communication for around six years; and the last position he held at the company was that of CEO, West.
He has also worked with Bharti Televentures and Kodak India during his career. Gulati holds a B Tech degree and an MBA degree from Faculty of Management Studies (FMS).
