Shashi Sinha, chief executive officer, Lodestar Universal India has been appointed the head of the eight member jury panel at the Outdoor Advertising Awards (OAA).

The OAA awards, held under the aegis of the Outdoor Advertising Convention (OAC), has 24 categories split as 15 in creative and nine in media. This year, the Poster category has been removed from the OAA awards.
The selection of the winners will begin on June 5 in Mumbai with an on-ground judging session, where all the entries will be displayed before the judges; these will be shortlisted to arrive at the final winning entries. The call for entries closes on May 20.
The award recognises and honours all those responsible for creating and executing OOH advertising from creative and specialist agencies to media owners and digital printers.
Launched in 2005, the OAA Awards received about 450 entries last year.
