Asia MotorWorks parks itself at Vizeum

The account size is pegged at Rs 10 crore

Vizeum India has bagged the Asia MotorWorks media business and will be its AoR (agency on record). Asia MotorWorks, a five year old company, is a leading player in the heavy commercial vehicles segment, dealing in manufacturing of trucks in the 25 tonne and above category.

The size of the business is estimated at Rs 10 crore. Although there was no official pitch involved, the company was reviewing a couple of other agencies.

Commenting on its decision to hand the media duties to Vizeum, Anirudh Bhuwalka, managing director and chief executive officer, Asia MotorWorks, says, "We are optimistic that Vizeum will be able to add value to our communication investment resources."

In addition to manufacturing heavy commercial vehicles, Asia MotorWorks (AMW) also supplies wheel rims and pressed components to renowned automobile companies in India and overseas. The key benefits offered by AMW are low cost of operation, high driver comfort, panoramic visibility and ease of maintenance.

Talking about the win, S Yesudas, managing director, Indian sub continent, Vizeum, says, "It's a challenging assignment and we are thankful to AMW for placing its faith on us. Vizeum started its operations in India in June 2009. It handles the accounts of Amrutanjan, BSA Motors, the ESSAR Group, iPlayUp, Luxor/Parker and Credila Financial Services, among others.
