Mudra Bangalore duo win AAAI-Cannes Young Lions Creative Competition 2010

In its tenth year, the competition received 200 entries on the theme 'Don't buy animal tested products'

Pradeep Ravindran, art director and Shruti Sadani, copywriter, Mudra Bangalore have reasons to celebrate as the duo has been adjudged the winners of the AAAI-Cannes Young Lions Creative Competition 2010.

To encourage young creative talent, the Advertising Agencies Association of India organises the competition (supported by the Times Group) every year as a national initiative providing an opportunity for international exposure.

In its tenth year, a total of 200 entries were received on the theme 'Don't buy animal tested products'.

Ravi Deshpande, chief creative officer, Contract Advertising; Ramanuj Shastry, national creative director, Saatchi & Saatchi; and Adrian Mendonza, creative partner, Dentsu India judged the entries in two phases.

Ravindran and Sadani will represent India and compete with teams from all over the world in the International Young Lions Creative Competition at the Cannes Advertising Festival in June.

The Times Group will bear all the expenses of the winning team's trip to Cannes.

Last year, Anshumani Khanna and Priya Gurnani from Contract Advertising won the competition that invited entries on the theme 'Stop Domestic Violence Against Women. Report Abuse'. KV Sridhar, national creative director, Leo Burnett and Bobby Pawar, chief creative officer, Mudra Group were the judges.
